Postage, Payment & Delivery

Delivery Costs have always been a real problem with online shopping, and many online retailers charge a flat fee which is unfair because it means you are likely to get overcharged.  At Planet Yum we want to keep it fair, so at this time we have chosen to calculate the charges manually.  We also offer a few different options so please read on carefully.  Here's how it works....


PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Once your shopping is completed, and you have provided your deliverey address AND payment option (VISA, Mastercard, Bank Card or direct deposit) the cost of your order will NOT show the shipping cost.  We will work out the Best Way to deliver to you at the cheaper of either Australia Post or Couriers Please. You may also pick up your delivery if you wish, but please phone us first to ensure someone can attend you at a specific time and date.

  • Paying By Credit Card?  If you would like a quote on postage/delivery costs before we bill your card & dispatch your goods please leave a note at the Checkout when you finalise your online order and we will email you the cost of postage and then await your return email confirming your clearance before sending your order. If you do not ask for a quote we will proceed to bill your credit card based on the cheapest choice of postal service.

 

  • If your order is urgent please let us know in the "Comments" field at the Checkout and we can calculate the cost for express post or urgent courier

 

DELIVERY TO REMOTE or OTHER AREAS

 
If your order does not go through online, it is because you require delivery to an area outside the delivery limits. This does not mean we won't deliver there, so please contact us for a quote.

 

DISPATCH & DELIVERY TIMES

As long as we have your products in stock and there is no delay...

All orders placed up until 3pm will generally be dispatched same day.  This depends on the size of your order - it may take us longer to pack it, and we may be dealing with high volumes of orders that day.

All orders placed after 3pm (excluding Australia Post orders) will be dispatched by 10:30am the following morning.  Australia Post will be dispatched same day.

According to Australia Post these timetables are guidelines only and based on reasonable expectations and experience   QLD (Brisbane G/C areas) up to 1 business day

    VIC Country zones 2 to 4 business days
    WA (Perth area) 2 to 5 business days

*Couriers Please is a highly reputable external courier service, but occasional delays are experienced during delivery which are out of our control. As such we cannot accept responsibilty for delays during carriage.  We do not guarantee earlier times, but do our best to accommodate.


WHAT IF I MISS THE COURIER? 

THIS IS VITAL - PLEASE READ!

Please make sure you or someone is available to sign for receipt of the order when it arrives at your nominated delivery address. If the address is unattended Couriers Please will return the parcel to their local office in your state. You may call Couriers Please (1300 PLEASE) to arrange to pick up the parcel yourself, otherwise the courier will attempt to re-deliver the parcel within 24 hours.

If the delivery address is still then unattended (or you are uncontactable) at the second attempt then Couriers Please will return the parcel to Planet Yum.  If you wish for us to courier your order a second time you will be charged for the courier a second time. You can cancel your order if you wish but we will NOT reimburse the courier fee you paid, or the payment of your order. 

Missing your delivery does not consitute grounds for asking for a refund.  Please check our refunds/returns policy for more information about returns or refunds.

Orders Placed on Weekends

All orders placed on Friday (after 4pm), Saturday or Sunday will be processed on the following working day (generally a Monday unless a public holiday coincides).

International Shipping Costs

Orders are able to be delivered all over the world.

We use Australia Post and postage will be automatically added upon checkout.  You can check the rates here: Australia Post International Fees
