This section will be updated continually until it contains a fully comprehensive listing of the ingredients we use in our natural soaps & other products, including colours, fragrances and raw materials. We use quality, cosmetic & skin safe ingredients in all our products - nothing dangerous or nasty. We only use ingredients deemed safe by the Food, Drug & Cosmetics Authority (FD&C) and the Cosmetics Ingredients Review Assessments (CIR). We make all our own products, nothing is bought and then sold on from us. Wherever possible we use Australian produced raw materials, and if overseas materials are used they are sourced from ethical suppliers who practice fair trade programs with growers. The raw materials we purchase to make our beautiful products have taken time to research so that we know we are getting sustainable and eco-friendly, non-gentically modified goodies for you. The oils we use in our soap are kosher & halal, as are our bath bombs. All of our products are made from vegetable only derived ingredients, apart from honey and goat milk. We do not test on animals! Some of our products do contain nuts & seed oils in one form or another, but do not contain peanuts.
For those of you who are concerned about the use of palm oil, please note we love Orangutans too; our palm oil is sourced from a long time producer in Malaysia called Wilmar who was one of the first to be accredited by the RSPO (Roundtable committe for Sustainable Palm Oil production). DO YOU USE CHEMICALS IN YOUR PRODUCTS?
The word "chemical" scares people. Many people seem to think that ALL chemicals are bad or toxic. The Human Being (that's you & me) is a complex organism composed of chemicals and chemical processes. Some chemicals can be toxic, but even many synthetic 'man-made' chemicals are not toxic. When you read the labels on the back of products it's enough to make you want to put it back on the shelf, but do you really know what all those ingredients really are?
The names on those labels that sound like chemicals are not always chemicals. If you are afraid to use products because of those long names under the ingredients listing on the label - fear not. Cosmetic laws require all manufacturers to list ingredients with their scientific names, which often sounds like chemicals but is not. Something like Citric Acid sounds like it's going to melt your skin off, but it's actually a natural acid derived from citrus fruits, and is often used in foods and confectionery.

Almond Sweet oil (Prunus amygdalus dulcis) Food grade Sweet Almond oil is one of the most often used carrier oils in Aromatherapy, Massage, Skincare and Soap making. Almond Oil helps relieve irritation, is finely textured and easily absorbed and helps to leave the skin soft and smooth. Sweet Almond Oil is moisturising and emollient and rich in Vitamins A & E. Sweet Almond Oil is suitable for use in Soaps, Massage Oils, all Cosmetic Products including Creams, Lotions, Body Butters, Balms and Bath Oils. Suitable for all Skin types and particularly useful for Dry and Sensitive types

Bamboo powder - Bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris) Extract. Bamboo Exfoliating Extract is a thick liquid obtained from bamboo tabashi stems. It is then crystallised into powder that is approximately 160 microns for a very light abrasive feel. Rich in mineral salt and an excellent source of silica it also suitable for face and sensitive skin.
Bentonite Clay (spa minerals) Clay minerals offer a pure and natural way to cleanse, revitalise & detoxify your skin. Rich in natural minerals your skin and body needs, they give your skin a healthy glow by increasing circulation and oxygenation to your skin cells. Great in body scrubs.

Cetearyl alcohol is derived either vegetable or petrochemical sources. We source it from a vegetable source - jojoba oil. It is truly a fatty wax, and not the same as drinking alcohol. Cetearyl alcohol adds emolience to our cream, meaning it makes it moisturising.

Emulsifying Wax NF provides body & volume to moisturising creams and scrubs. It thickens emulsions and also allows the product to wash off fully. NF stands for National Formulary WIKI link.

Fractionated Coconut oil
Optiphen Plus™ INCI Phenoxyethanol (and) Caprylyl Glycol (and) Sorbic Acid. A broad spectrum antimicrobial and antibacterial preservative. It will not form formaldehyde and is 100% paraben & sulphate-free. Used in amounts from 0.5% it gives long-lasting protection for your skin against fungal, mould & microbial attacks for up to two years shelf life. Phenoxyethanol is grian based alcohol, caprylyl glycol is a by-product of soap production and provides antibacterial protection and sorbic acid is derived from Rowan berries (Sorbus aucuparia) - it's a ntural plant acid that assist to preserve against microbes. We don't use so called "100% natural" preservatives because they haven't yet shown significant evidence that they provide long-term protection in products, thus they may allow for infectious microbial, bacterial & mould infections in the skin. They allow for these germs to multiply too quickly even though the products may say a "Best Before" date. When we find a 100% natural preservative system that is scientifically proven to protect our products & your skin we will use it.

Pumice: finely ground volcanic rock safe & well suited as exfoliating particles for body scrubs. Helps to dissolve and remove dead skin on the skin's surface allowing new youthful skin cells beneath to be revealed.

Sea Salt
Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) also known as Karite, has been used by people in Africa for many years to nourish skin and hair and lessen the effects of harsh skin-drying weather, sun damage and aging. Shea offers intense emollience/moisturising to the skin. Shea is particularly useful for dry and aging skin types.
sodium chloride is commonly known as salt. Sea salt retains its natural minerals which can feed the skin and help as a natural antiseptic and cleanser. Its particles are very effective in body scrubs and bath milks.

BUBBLE BATH BARS & COCTAILS:
Free from SLS, parabens, petro-chemical free & biodegradable: cocamidopropyl betaine (coconut derived), polyglucose (sugar derived), PEG 7 glyceryl cocoate (coconut oil by-product), PEG-150 pentaerythrityl tetrastearate (vegetable derived thickener), PEG-6 capric/caprylic glycerides (fractionated coconut oil), distilled water, glycerine, citric acid (citrus derived), preservatives (phenoxyethanol & sorbic acid 1%), FD&C safe fragrance.
Translucent Glycerine Soaps:
Ingredients: Rest easy...we use a natural glycerine soap base consisting of eco-sustainable Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Glycerine (kosher, of vegetable origin), Sorbitol*(moisturizer), Sorbitan oleate* (emulsifer), Soy bean protein (conditioner). Nothing else added - No SLS, parabens, DEA or propylene glycol.
*Sorbitol is added to soaps for its exceptional moisturising qualities. Sorbitol has been used in cosmetic products for close to a century and is a Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) product by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Sorbitan oleate is a natural fatty acid by-product from sorbital for moisturisation and cleansing properties.
is clarified coconut oil. Particularly good as it sinks right into the skin easily and does not have a greasy after feel. Also it won't stain sheets & linens. Particularly great for baby's skin too. G
